More than 60% of all smartphone users and 70% of users under 35 are on snapchat and spend at least 20 minutes per day on the platform.

Tips covered in video:

1) Setup a snapchat geo-filter, it’s so easy! Geo-filters can be for brand awareness, coupons, targeting competitor locations, nearby events, where your customers would use your products/services, etc.. make the design worth using/sharing!

2) Share VIP deals and specials on Snapchat! Share at best time (wake up, lunch, go to bed). Treat snapchat like text message marketing. Unless you have great content to share consistently, only share when you add value! When you post, you can ask them to swipe up to see details or screenshot and share with their friends. Use filters, make it funny, take picks of in store coupons or deals, etc.. Beyond that, snap key updates and interesting stuff (behind the scenes).

3) Get more followers! Email your customers, add to website, cross promote on social, etc.. to follow you for VIP deals and specials @username. Include your “add me URL”.

#1) Run Video Ads – You have to have a video when launching your ad. Video ads allow you develop out a stronger audience as you can build an audience for remarketing on how long people are watching your videos. When you combine both video and remarketing on top of that you will see a lift in conversion rates. Example : We ran a targeted video campaign for the Denver Broncos highlighting Fitness franchises at Sports Authority field. This campaign was designed to promote an upcoming event to sell fitness franchises. When we started building the audience and remarketing we saw an increase in event subscriptions that led to the sell of 12 franchises at 150K a piece.

#2) Target the Correct Audience – It is imperative that you understand the audience you are trying to target. Facebook has numerous options available to build a targeted audience. – Location, Demographics (age, gender, relationship status, education, work info, etc), Interests (literally anything, food, travel, sports, brands, style, topics, etc) and more. Keep in mind to layer the targeting as your narrow the audience as this will make your ads more relevant which is an important metric for understanding your relevancy score. Broncos Ex – Target 100 miles around Denver, age 25-45 fitness professionals, interested in fitness and franchises.

#3) Understand the type of campaign you want to build – For example, a brand campaign is different than a like campaign. Lead ads are different than just driving traffic to the site. While these option are all good you need to have a strategy in place to support the campaign type. For example:

-Brand Campaign – This ad creative is designed to drive brand awareness. If you run this campaign type it is important to measure the direct traffic response you get in analytics to better understand campaign performance

-Like Campaign – This ad creative is designed to increase the following on your Facebook page. If you run this type of creative you should pair it with a remarketing campaign so you can drive conversions to this audience

-Lead Ads – This is a powerful ad creative. Keep in mind to really leverage this creative it is important that the campaign leads tie into a CRM for marketing automation

-Traffic – This ad creative is designed to drive traffic to a landing page on your site. If you select this creative make sure to remarket to the traffic that lands on the landing page but didn’t convert. This will keep your brand top of mind with the consumer.

#4) Continually design new creative – Ad rotation and design is important to stay top of mind. As you reach maximum reach on your audience create new designs and messaging to extend the life of the campaign. It is also important that your are tracking the conversions on all your audiences so that you can create a combination list so that all future ad creatives after conversion do not see the ad. This style of campaign build is designed to target new customers and acquisition efforts.

Hey, it’s Chia from Brand24 and… I recently got a request from you guys to share a few more Twitter Advanced Search operators, so that’s what I’m going to do today… we’ll go over a couple Advanced Search commands inside this video, including some tips on how to use Twitter Advanced Search for marketing.

Now, since we’re focusing on Twitter for marketing, we’re going to cover some Advanced Search commands that will help us (1) identify our top tweets (so we can see what’s been working for us) as well as (2) find a more specific audience that would benefit the most from our content.

So, if you’re a social media manager or small business owner who uses Twitter for marketing, you want to know what kind of content gets the biggest response from your audience. This means that you need to identify your most engaging tweets, both in terms of your hashtags as well as your Twitter account, and there are a couple ways to do this.

So, the easiest way is to just track your hashtags inside a media monitoring app like Brand24. Then, you can automatically see a list of the most engaging tweets from your hashtag campaign (or for any hashtags that you’re tracking) right inside the app. You can also find a lot of other data too, like: (1) you can see the total number of tweets for that hashtag, (2) you can measure your social media reach, and (3) you can also analyze the sentiment of those tweets, and more…

But if you don’t need to analyze or measure any data and you don’t need any numbers; you just want to find specific tweets, then you can also try Twitter Advanced Search. I recommend doing this on your laptop instead of your phone, because then you can use the Advanced Search form, which you can find on “twitter.com/search-advanced” — I’ll put a direct link to the Twitter Advanced Search form in the Video Description box below, so you can bookmark it and you don’t have to memorize this right now. I’ll also go over some hidden Advanced Search commands in this video, to help you find information that cannot be found using the form.

Now, from the Twitter Advanced Search form, to find the most engaging tweets for your account, just scroll down to “Accounts” and under “From these accounts”, enter your Twitter username. THEN, scroll down to “Engagement” and this is where you can pull up tweets that got at least a certain number of Replies, Likes and Retweets. I’m going to enter 1 as the minimum amount for each of these, so we can see tweets that got at least 1 reply, 1 like and 1 retweet, or more. You can put in any numbers you want, this is just an example.

One reason why I recommend using your laptop instead of your smartphone to do Twitter Advanced Search is because you can’t access the Advanced Search form within the mobile app. However, you can enter advanced Twitter search commands manually in the app — and in some cases you have to because you won’t find everything you need on the form. So, to run the same search that we just did through the form, you would enter this command inside the Twitter search bar: “From:YourUsername min_replies:1 min_faves:1 min_retweets:1”. This command basically tells Twitter that we want to see tweets from that username with a minimum of 1 reply, 1 like and 1 retweet. You can sub higher numbers to narrow down your most engaging tweet, or even enter different usernames, like your competitors, to see how they’re engaging…

First, why I think Pinterest is such a great platform to promote your business? The main reason is because Pinterest doesn’t try to keep users all the time inside their platform, to the contrary – Pinterest lets you add a link to your website from every image you publish on your boards.
If you know anything about another very popular social network Instagram, there you can only have a link from your profile and from stories. And stories don’t last more than 24 hours. So if you want to get some traffic from Instagram, you have to really hustle every single day and publish new stories.

So, the second reason why I think Pinterest is so great for businesses is because you are investing your time in a long-term success. Each pin you saved on the platform, has a chance to go viral but not only that – it can also be found on Pinterest months and sometimes even years after you published the pin, in Pinterest search results.

And the other reason I have to mention here is that Pinterest could be the best option for a lot of businesses and people who are not ready to put themselves out there in other formats. Like if you don’t want to create video because let’s face it, it is 100 times easier and faster to create an image for Pinterest than a video for Youtube. If you don’t see yourself making Instagram stories every day just to get some likes and a few clicks to your website, then perhaps Pinterest which is something in between a social media and a search engine, is the best place to get traffic from in addition to Google.

And I have to tell you that Google, as much as I love Google traffic, is a tough-nut-to-crack! You will not get a ton of organic traffic from Google in the first year or two of building your website. You’ll need a lot of time and effort building backlinks. On Pinterest you can start getting a decent amount of traffic right away, literally from the first month being on this platform.

What kind of niches and business are doing well on Pinterest?

If you know a little bit about me, I became a Pinterest marketing expert through the experience I first gain on this platform running traffic to my blogs.

I’ve had months with over 300,000/mo pageviews and about 90% of the traffic was coming from Pinterest.

And lots of other bloggers (even complete beginners) are leveraging Pinterest traffic because you can get traction on this platform so much faster than on Google.

Pinterest works great for bloggers because it drives mostly traffic from the United States, and it helps making more money for each 1000 of visitors to the site.

But that also means that whatever your business is, even if you are far from the blogging world, you can leverage Pinterest audience that’s so valued by ad networks because of their buyer intent and high average household income.

I’m not going to lie to you that every possible niche on Earth is a good fit for Pinterest. If you have a local car rental business, I think the best place for you is Google because people will not look for this type of services on Pinterest.

These are the top niches on Pinterest very broadly defined but on the right side you can also see more specific topics inside of each niche.
Now that I showed you that there are lots of niches that do really well on Pinterest, I need to also mention what kind of business can hardly be a good fit.

If you are promoting events that are happening only once in a specific place, like concerts for example, Pinterest is not going to help you much because as a search engine, it will take time to index your new pins and start ranking them. By the time you can get any traffic from your pins, the event will be history.
